{"id":538,"date":"2019-01-22T06:12:50","date_gmt":"2019-01-22T06:12:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jwhill.com\/?p=538"},"modified":"2019-01-22T07:59:04","modified_gmt":"2019-01-22T07:59:04","slug":"jw-hill-capital-backs-digecor-in-the-acquisition-of-commercial-ife-business-from-collins-aerospace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jwhill.com\/?p=538","title":{"rendered":"JW Hill Capital partners with digEcor to acquire commercial IFE business from Collins Aerospace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>January 22, 2019, Newport Beach, CA &#8211; <\/strong>JW Hill Capital announced today its partnership with digEcor, based in Brisbane, Australia, in the acquisition of the commercial In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) business from Collins Aerospace.&nbsp; That business originated with Rockwell Collins, which was acquired by United Technologies in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This acquisition brings together 40 years of experience and innovation in IFE\u2014starting with Hughes Avicom and Sony Transcom, then Rockwell Collins and digEcor\u2014into a new global business named <g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\"><g class=\"gr_ gr_3 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace\" id=\"3\" data-gr-id=\"3\">Burrana<\/g><\/g>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Burrana\u2019s product breadth will include Rockwell Collins\u2019 PAVES\u2122 family of\nseat back and overhead solutions, PAVES\u2122 On-demand, Total Entertainment System\n(TES), Enhanced Total Entertainment System (ETES) and content services, as well\nas digEcor\u2019s GLIDE, Engage, Power, PSS and Lighting products.
