Located in San Diego, California, Performance Plastics, Inc. (“PPI”) is a manufacturer of precision-engineered composite aerostructure components for major military and commercial OEMs and tier one suppliers.  Founded in 1982, PPI focuses on small to mid-size assemblies, and has an extensive list of customer qualifications covering both metal bond and composites processes.

JW Hill Capital partners with digEcor to acquire commercial IFE business from Collins Aerospace

January 22, 2019, Newport Beach, CA – JW Hill Capital announced today its partnership with digEcor, based in Brisbane, Australia, in the acquisition of the commercial In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) business from Collins Aerospace.  That business originated with Rockwell Collins, which was acquired by United Technologies in 2018.

This acquisition brings together 40 years of experience and innovation in IFE—starting with Hughes Avicom and Sony Transcom, then Rockwell Collins and digEcor—into a new global business named Burrana.

Newport Beach, CA – February 1, 2016 – JW Hill Capital announced today the acquisition of Aerospace Contacts LLC (“AC” or the “Company”) in partnership with Gemini Investors.   AC is the industry leader in providing highly engineered, short lead-time contacts and hardware for the harsh environment connector industry.

Located in Tempe, Arizona, AC was founded in 1999 by Sal Kielbus.  The Company specializes in manufacturing MIL-SPEC contacts with modified terminations for the aerospace industry and contact assemblies of custom design.
